Johnson Panettiere, who played Casper in season 9 of The Walking Dead, is no more

Johnson Panettiere, who played Casper in Season 9 of The Walking Dead, died in New York on Sunday (02/19).  No cause of death was released for 28-year-old Jansen Panettiere.  He was the younger brother of actress Hayden Panettiere.

As an actor, he did voiceovers in animations such as Blue's Clues, Ice Age 2: The Thaw (2006), and Family X (2005–2006).  He received a nomination for the Young Artist Award in 2008 for The Last Day of Summer (2007).

Born in 1994 in Palisades, New York, Johnson Panettiere's first on-screen appearance was in an episode of Mano E Mann (2000–2003).

Janssen Panettiere was the younger brother of actress Hayden Panettiere and starred alongside his sister in the films "Cruel with the Tigers" (2004) and "The Counterfeiter" (2011).

Janssen last appeared as an actor in 2019, in the comedy Two Freaks at Harvard 2 (2019) and in an episode of the ninth season of The Walking Dead (2010–2022).  Since then, Janssen has been interested in the visual arts.  The actor posted several pictures of colorful pieces, graffiti and shoe designs on his Instagram.

Johnson Panettiere and her sister Hayden used to share pictures on social networks showing their affection for each other.  Both the siblings had a strong bond which got broken.

The makers of the famous series The Walking Dead tweeted in memory of the actor and also praised him.  Valhalla Entertainment wrote on Twitter, "You will always be remembered as Casper in The Work Before on Season 9 of The Walking Dead."  We will miss you very much.  At this time, we are thinking about your family, what Panettiere's family must be going through at this time
